The Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) is Michigan’s largest, evidence-based home visitation program for Medicaid eligible pregnant women and infants.

All infants enrolled with Everything 4 Mom & Baby have care plans developed just for them.
Infants in Everything 4 Mom & Baby had significant favorable effects across a range of maternal and infant outcomes.

FREE MATERNAL CARE
All pregnant women enrolled with Everything 4 Mom & Baby have care plans developed just for them.

Women participating in Everything 4 Mom & Baby are more likely to be present for any prenatal care and have improved adequacy of prenatal care throughout their pregnancy.
​
Infants in MIHP had:
Reduced low birth weight
Reduced extreme prematurity
Reduced birth at 37-39 weeks gestation
Likely to be present for any well-child visits
More likely to be present for the appropriate number of well-child visits
Women participating:
Likely to be present for prenatal care
Improved adequacy of prenatal care
Likely to be present for postnatal care

FAMILY BENEFITS

The Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) is free for Medicaid eligible pregnant women and infants up to age one.
​
When you enroll in MIHP, a team of nurses, social workers, nutrition professionals, lactation consultants and infant mental health specialists will work with you, your doctor, your health plan, and providers in your community to make sure you receive services to keep you and your baby healthy.
MIHP is the only home visiting program in Michigan that serves all Medicaid pregnant women and children.
